Her lyrics let us into her inner world, sharing her feelings, losses and joy. It's been said that her songs are straight from the heart, and that works for everyone. Carol has worked as a Registered Nurse at Burlington's Teaching Hospital for well over twenty years. Psychiatric Nursing being her specialty.
JOE ADLER http://www.joeadler.com Singer/Songwriter Joe Adler moved to Burlington, Vermont from Washington, DC in the fall of 2003. Since then he has quietly refined his songwriting, guitar picking and performing techniques, incorporating the beautiful and peaceful elements of his new green mountain surroundings. His original music can be described as a blend of mellow laid back lounge rock mixed with blues and jazz sensibilities. It’s kind of like a meeting between Tom Waits and Lou Reed with the Rolling Stones hanging out in the back playing pool.

INGRID HELDT http://www.ingridmusic.com
Ingrid began performing long before she could read. Her father, a sound engineer, took her along to sporting, political and social events, where she'd always end up in front of the mike, singing. She wrote her first song, an early version of "Chrome, Crystal and Glass", in a songwriting workshop with Bob Gibson (1931-1996) whose songs have been covered by Simon & Garfunkel, Judy Collins and The Byrds and whose protégés included Joan Baez and Shel Silverstein. She has written and translated songs for other singers and commercials for companies such as Volkswagen. Jason Pappas, Nate Wallace-Gusakov, and Katie Trautz bring energy and life to old traditions. Their tunes are interspersed with vocal harmonies and improvisation.
DJ LONGO
As evidenced by the photo, LONGO was made to be behind a microphone. He has been raining blood and thunder professionally over the airwaves via WRUV since 2005; in that time, most of the station's new metal has passed through his eyes, ears, and hands. The beautiful reality is that metal is the strongest it's been in years--perhaps decades--as notoriety spreads, history is remembered, and generations of 'bangers both young and old continue to churn out quality material if you know where to look. LONGO will never resign the quest...

MICHAEL MEADE http://www.mmeade.net/
The Michael Meade (or "Mikey" as some of his friends call him) that you see on stage, is first and foremost an entertainer. His goal on stage is to make people feel good. "People will never say I'm the World's Greatest Guitar Player," he says with a laugh. "But they tap their feet, clap their hands, sing along, and sometimes jump up and dance. As long as they walk away with a smile, I'm happy." But Mike is a well rounded musician. You will find him playing Guitar, Mandolin, Drums, Native American Flute, Keyboards, and Autoharp. Most of the time you will see him playing with his band, Lackawanna Rail, who released a CD in the early part of 2007. But frequently he will perform alone or with other singers. He will often be seen with "Peace Singer" Ingrid Heldt as his concern for the environment has motivated him to donate his talent to some environmental groups.

VERSE http://myspace.com/verse
Honest and sincere straight edge hardcore from Providence RI featuring ex-members of WHAT FEEDS THE FIRE. Energetic and brutal mixed with some early 90''s melody. Think of a cross between Turning Point and Bane... CDep / 7" out on CONTRAST RECORDS / DOUBLE DOWN Records.
TIM WILLIAMS http://www.myspace.com/timwilliams Picture an old, tattered copy of Whitman's Leaves of Grass sitting in a murky basement of whatever house you grew up in. Now, picture finding that one night at 3 a.m., reeling from the loss of someone or something, seismic or miniscule. When Work Is Done by Tim Williams is kind of like that. With each one of his songs Williams paints open door portraits of life hinging on piercing naturalness: the contemplative guitar, the dusty room reverb, and the voice that cracks with the freedom of two bottles of red wine. This is not some stock attempt at honesty and impact; it's a fresh, rough, impressionistic landscape of the world as he sees it...
